-New Twin size sheet sets
-New Twin size blankets

-New Towels, wash clothes
-New Toiletries
-$20 gift cards to restaurant in the Killeen/ Ft.Hood area (Chili's, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Genghis Grill, Applebee's, etc).

American Trooper is a 501c3 Non-Profit that gives back to our US Troops, Veterans and their families.
Our goal is to honor our veterans and simply say,"Thank You for your service and sacrifice!", through providing vacations, family fun weekends, and more. We hope to help Veterans relieve stress, rest, and re connect with family.  Loss of time with family is one of the HUGE ways our service members sacrifice. We want to Give Back some of that precious time and create fun memories.

A thank you note from the Hentze family:

This past weekend my family and I were lucky enough to receive a weekend getaway to Great Wolf Lodge from American Trooper. Since being medically retired from the Marine Corps, my husband has been working full time and going to school full time, so it was nice being able to get away with our children and enjoy some fun, quality family time together. The room was amazing, and bigger than we expected! Our children loved having their own area to play and sleep. We had more than enough money left on our gift card to enjoy meals and souvenirs for our family. Between swimming at the water park and playing in the arcade, we all had so much fun and couldn't have asked for a better trip. Thank you so much to Shanessa and everyone who contributes and donates to the wonderful organization. It put the biggest smile our children's faces and that is something we're so very thankful for.
The Love of Christ compels us.
John 15:13  Greater love hath no man than this, than a man lay down His life for His friends.
Ephesians 3:14-20  When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
